Inhaberin

I was very interested in horses from an early age. When I was as young as three years old my parents would regularly have to take me for pony rides. From there, I went on to start proper riding lessons at five. Throughout the years, this passion has never gone away which is why I also wanted a career working with horses. After my Abitur, and a year’s work experience at a dressage yard, I decided on a psychology degree at the University of Luxembourg and to undergo further training in the field of therapeutic riding. Since then, my studies have combined my two career wishes’ on the one hand, to work with people and, on the other hand, to work with horses. During my studies, I have also had the great good fortune of being able to take over Triebscheiderhof with my family. This farm represents the ideal working environment for me. On the one hand, the horses can be kept here in an appropriate manner and, on the other hand, the peaceful environment provides an ideal atmosphere for the therapeutic work. In order to be able to help people optimally with my horses, in 2013/14 I undertook a one-year further development course in Luxembourg at “equi-motion” to become a therapeutic riding instructor. It is there that I learnt to combine the knowledge I gained in my studies with what I knew about my horses. In order to further develop my knowledge in all directions and to be even more qualified for my clients, I shall be starting a further education course in November 2015 in the subject of traumatology. This further training to become a multi-phase integrative trauma therapist will take place at the Munich Institute for Trauma Therapy and is certified and recognised by the DeGPT [German-speaking Society for Psychotraumatology]. In the equine field, I will likewise be continuing to gain further qualifications in 2015 and will be starting a professional rider’s course in September. My clients can have every confidence that I will always be continuing my education not only in the psychological field – but also in my work with horses.
